 This Privacy Policy sets forth the basis on which personal information, including but not limited to payment data and other information that we collect from you or from other sources or that you provide to us ("Information"), is handled by us in connection with the customer’s access to and use of www.AlSaqeefa .com and/or the Al Saqeefa mobile application (collectively, the "Platform"), services and applications (collectively, the "Services"). We understand the importance you place on the information and we are committed to protecting and respecting the customer’s privacy. Please read the following carefully to understand our practices with respect to customer’s information. By using our services, you consent to the treatment of customer’s information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

References in this Privacy Policy to “we”, “our” or “us” (or similar) are references to Al Saqeefa. References to “user” or “you” (or similar) are references to you as an individual or legal entity as the case may be.

WHAT INFORMATION WE MAY COLLECT FROM YOU

We may collect and process the following information about you:
(a) information you provide by filling out forms on our Platform, including information you provide when registering to use our Platform and other co-registrations (e.g., social media logins), subscribing to our Services, posting material, or requesting additional Services;
b. the information you provide when you enter a contest or promotion through our Platform or provide reviews, testimonials or feedback on our Platform;
c. Information you provide to us or that we may collect from you when you report a problem with our Platform;
d. a record of correspondence when you contact us;
e. general, aggregate, demographic and non-personal information;
f. if you download or use our mobile application, we may have access to details about the customer’s  location and mobile device, including a unique identifier for the customer’s  device;
g. Details about transactions you make through our Platform and how customer orders are fulfilled;
h. Details about the customer’s  computer, including but not limited to the customer’s  IP address, operating system and browser type, and information about the customer’s  general internet usage (e.g., through the use of technologies that store or access information on customer’s  device, such as cookies, tracking pixels, web beacons, etc. (collectively, "Cookies"));
i. Customer’s  email address and/or cell phone number from a third party if you indicate that you have consented to that third party sharing customer’s  information with us; and
j. any other information we deem necessary to enhance the customer’s experience on the Platform.

HOW WE WILL USE CUSTOMER’S INFORMATION

We may use the information we hold about you in the following ways:
a. to provide you with information, products or services that you have requested from us or that we believe may be of interest to you, where you have consented to be contacted for these purposes;
b. to provide you with location-based services such as advertising, search results and other personalised content;
c. to fulfil our obligations arising from contracts entered into between you and another company using our Platform or between you and us;
d. to improve our services and to provide you with better and more personalised service;
e. to ensure that the content on our Platform is presented in the most effective manner for you and the device you are using to access our Platform;
f. to notify you of changes to our Services;
g. for any other reason we deem necessary to enhance the customer’s  experience with the Platform;
h. to administer our incentive programs and fulfill customers’ requests for incentives and/or to allow you to enter sweepstakes and notify you if you are a winner of sweepstakes.

TO WHOM WE MAY DISCLOSE CUSTOMER’S INFORMATION

Information about our customers is an important part of our business. We share customer information only as described below and only with companies that have practices at least as secure as those described in this Privacy Policy:

  1. Other Companies. In order to provide our services to you, we may work with companies that are affiliated with us and/or unaffiliated service providers (e.g., logistics companies that deliver products to you, marketing companies, payment processors to process online transactions, etc.). We may involve other companies in customer transactions that may store customer information in a digital wallet to make customers use of our Services more efficiently.

You understand that it is important that these companies have access to relevant information to perform their functions. We will ensure that these companies do not use customers’ information for any other purpose. We may also receive information from these companies (e.g., updated shipping and address information) that we may use (e.g., to correct our records and deliver customers’ next purchase). By using our Platform, you hereby voluntarily and expressly consent to the transfer, storage, use and disclosure of customer information between companies affiliated with us and/or unaffiliated service providers, regardless of their location. These companies are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality of customers’ information.

  1. Marketing and Promotional Offers. We may also use customers’ information to send you information about goods and services that may be of interest to you and to enhance customers’ experience with the Platform, as well as for service announcements, new features, enhancements, special offers, and events of interest. We may contact you through various channels, including without limitation emails, push notifications, web notifications, postal mail, telephone, in-app messages, WhatsApp messages, and news feed cards.

We may allow third parties to use customers’ information. For example, we may provide information to advertisers to help them reach the type of audience they want to target and to enable us to fulfill our obligations to our advertisers (e.g., by displaying their advertisements to a targeted audience).

In addition, you may be asked to provide additional information in order to participate in some of our market research activities, including sweepstakes and promotions. For example, if you win a sweepstake, you may be asked to provide additional personal information to de

HOW WE STORE CUSTOMER’S INFORMATION

The information we collect from you may be transferred to, stored and processed by employees of us or of one of our suppliers. These employees may be engaged in, among other things, fulfilling the customer’s order, processing the payment information, and providing support services. We will retain customers’ information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set forth in this Privacy Policy or as otherwise permitted or required by law. Customer’s data may be transferred, stored, processed and used by our affiliates and/or non-affiliated service providers in one or more countries. Customer’s payment data may be transferred to and stored by our affiliates for purposes including processing customer’s payment data and providing support and services to you.

WHAT SECURITY MEASURES DO WE APPLY

We maintain commercially reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to ensure that the customer’s information is treated securely and in accordance with this Privacy Policy and to protect you from unauthorized access to or alteration, disclosure, or destruction of the customer’s information. For example, we may use encryption technologies to protect the customers’ data during transmission to our platform and external firewalls and in-house firewall technologies to prevent network-level attacks. Only authorized employees, contractors, and agents who need to know customer data in connection with the provision of their services may access that data.

It is important that you protect against unauthorized access to customers’ passwords and to the devices you use to access our Services. You are responsible for keeping the customer’s password confidential. For example, make sure you log out when you stop using a shared device.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information over the Internet is not completely secure. Although we do our best to protect customers’ information, we cannot guarantee the security of customers’ information transmitted to our platform, and any transmission is at the customer’s own risk.

HOW CAN YOU ACCESS AND AMEND CUSTOMERS’ INFORMATION?

You may access a wide range of information about customers’ accounts and customers’ interactions with the Platform to view and, in certain cases, update customers’ information.

Examples of information you can easily access on the Platform include:

  1. current information about customer’s recent orders;
  2. personally identifiable information (including name, e-mail, password, communications and personalised advertising preferences);
  3. Payment preferences (including credit card information); and
  4. Email Notification Settings.

You may OTP-OUT of receiving future marketing communications from us at any time by adjusting customers’ communication preferences via the unsubscribe link in the email communication. For marketing through the customer’s mobile application, you Will need to adjust the customer’s notification settings in the general area of the customer’s cell phone.

In addition, our system places cookies when you log in to our platform to ensure that you have a pleasant user experience

WHAT IF WE CHANGE OUR PRIVACY POLICY?

Our business is constantly changing, and therefore our privacy policy may need to change as well. We will post the current version of this Privacy Policy on the Platform, and any such change will be effective upon posting on the Platform or on the date we designate as the "Effective Date."

We may periodically send email reminders of our notices and terms, but you should check our Platform frequently to see the latest changes.

It is the customer’s responsibility to review the Privacy Policy periodically. The customer’s continued use of the Platform following any such change constitutes the customer’s acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy.
